Ardgillan Castle is delighted to announce MnáFest, a four-day festival celebrating St. Brigid’s Day through a vibrant programme of female-led workshops, demonstrations, installations and performances.
On Saturday 31 January, join artist and tutor @marie_lemen_artworks for a portrait workshop where you'll get to draw St Brigid in the flesh, in a light-filled interior.
The workshop will start with an introduction to drawing from observation and a demo with tips on tackling structure and features placement.
The participants will have the following 2 hours under the tutors guidance to draw our lovely model.
Drawing materials provided. You can bring your own materials, oils permitted. Easels and tables available.
